Education/Information Networks

First and foremost the GSCC strives to constantly keep the membership up to date on issues and events affecting them most.  Below are some specific events that relate to this goal of information distribution.

Workshops/Seminars

The GSCC works to circulate information on upcoming workshops/seminars that are to the benefit of the business community.  Enterprise South East is the main provider of these workshops

Monthly Luncheons

Every month the GSCC brings in a guest speaker on a topic relevant to the members.  These are on the third Wednesday of each month at noon and take place at various locations around town. 

Small Business Week

During Small Business Week in September the GSCC holds a special luncheon.  The GSCC also participates in the Entrepreneurship Gala sponsored by Enterprise South East and the CBDC Westmorland Albert by presenting their annual Business of the Year Award. 

Annual General Meeting

In March the GSCC holds its Annual General Meeting reviewing the previous year and looking into the future direction of the community. 

All Candidates Meetings

The GSCC plays host to a Candidates Meeting for all levels of Government whenever there is an election held in our region.
