Sears Insurance Limited was established in Sackville, NB by Mr. Ken Sears in 1969. It has grown to be one of the largest insurance brokerage concerns in South Eastern New Brunswick and Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, with offices located in Sackville, Moncton and Cap Pele. Following Mr. Sears’s retirement from insurance in 1996, the business was acquired by its present Managing Partners, Mr Scott Embree and Mr. Wayne Cummings and is a member of The Anchor Group of Companies. Sears Insurance Limited currently employs seventeen licensed brokers and three support staff, most of whom are pursuing professional development studies through the Insurance Institute of Canada. The Anchor Group is one of the Maritimes' largest insurance brokerage operations, serving Individual Consumers, Business Institutions and Governments - managing over $40 million in yearly premiums. One of our Mission's is to be a Regional provider of Insurance needs , with a high level of expertise, education and consistency while each office is independently owned and managed.
